Addy,

Another great article. Good shift from “review the output” to “design the constraints around the output.” It feels like verification is becoming a system-design problem rather than a code-review problem.

How would you handle the “comprehensibility trap”? As humans do less code review, our ability to mentally model and debug the code during a live outage could degrade, even with excellent test coverage.

Related: what about architectural drift? Individual changes can satisfy every constraint while, over time, the overall system slowly moves in the wrong direction.

What feedback loops would you use to preserve both comprehensibility and architectural integrity as agentic coding scales?
